What the "no attribution" badge means
Some platforms don't attribute sales to a video yet. The sale arrives and is recorded, but it doesn't count toward the video's revenue. Here's which ones and what to do.
VSL Max shows each video's revenue from your payment platform's sale notification. For some platforms that reading isn't ready yet, and the badge lets you know before you set things up.
What the badge means
When you create a conversion, some platforms show a no attribution badge. For these, VSL Max already receives and records every sale through the webhook, but can't read the tracking parameter in that platform's sale notification yet. Without it, there's no way to know which video the sale came from.
When you pick one of these platforms, the modal shows a notice that it doesn't attribute sales per video yet.
How it affects reporting
- The sale is recorded, but it doesn't count toward the video's attributed revenue or conversions.
- The conversion stays Under review, because sales arrive without tracking.
- The video has no attributed sales to show, and none for the AI to use as a sales signal.
The player still writes the key into the checkout link. What's missing is reading it on the sale notification side.
Which platforms attribute today
Attributing sales per video: Hotmart, Monetizze, Hubla, and Cakto, plus the Zapier, Make, and n8n automations.
Not attributing yet: Kiwify, Eduzz, Braip, PerfectPay, Digital Manager Guru, Greenn, Ticto, Kirvano, Yampi, and Lastlink.
The list changes as support for each platform ships. The badge on the new conversion screen always has the current status.
What to do
You can set up the conversion now. Register the webhook on the platform and link the conversion to the video as usual. Once support ships, attribution starts working on its own, with nothing to change on your side.
If you can sell through a platform that already attributes, that's how to see revenue on the video today. To set it up, follow the tracking parameter guide.
How to spot it in your account
- On the new conversion screen, the badge shows on the platform card.
- On the Conversions list, the conversion stays Under review after the first sales.
- On the video screen, attributed revenue and conversions stay at zero even with approved sales on the platform.
Under review on a platform that attributes
If the platform has no badge and the conversion is still Under review, the cause is something else: the buy link doesn't go through the player, the checkout uses its own domain, or another tool uses the parameter. See the Under review section in Tracking parameter.
