What counts as a high-impact optimization

The high-impact optimization email arrives when the AI promotes a version that beat the original by at least 10%. Here's the rule and how to turn it on.

You turn the AI on once and it tests on its own. This alert tells you when one of those tests clearly changed the video's results, without you having to open the dashboard.

What the alert is

High-impact optimizations is an email alert in the AI optimization group. It arrives when AI maximization finishes a test, promotes the winning version, and that version is clearly better than the original.

Small changes and tests where the original keeps winning don't send an email. Everything the AI does, with or without an alert, is recorded in the video's history and results.

The high-impact rule

A promotion becomes an alert when it meets all three conditions:

  • At least a 10% lift in the metric that decided the test, comparing the winner's rate with the original's. It's a relative lift: going from 20% to 22% is a 10% lift.
  • At least 100 sessions on each of the two versions, the original and the winner.
  • The original had at least one result on that metric. Without it there's no baseline to compare.

The metric that decides the test is one of these: reaching the pitch, turning on sound, button clicks, or conversion.

Example

The original brought 20% of sessions to the pitch. The AI tested a new headline and the winner brought 23%. The lift is 15%, and both versions had more than 100 sessions: you get the alert.

If the winner had brought 21%, the lift would be 5%. The AI still promotes it, but doesn't send the email.

When the email arrives

The AI reviews tests in 6-hour cycles. The alert goes out in the cycle after the promotion. If more than one promotion in your account qualifies in the same cycle, they arrive together in one email. Each promotion triggers at most one alert.

For now, the email is sent in Portuguese.

How to turn it on or off

  1. Open Account settings › Notifications.
  2. In the AI optimization group, turn High-impact optimizations on or off.
  3. Save your preferences.

The email goes to the alerts address set on the same screen. If that field is empty, it goes to the account owner. Only admins can change these preferences.

I didn't get the alert

  • Check that the alert is on and the alerts email is right.
  • Check that the video has AI maximization turned on. No finished test means no promotion.
  • Look at the video's history and results: if the promotion had a lift under 10% or fewer than 100 sessions on either side, it doesn't send an email.
  • Check your spam or promotions folder.
